If you’re a billionaire, will you give legacy to your children? Maybe most of us will answer YES but not the ‘richest man in the world’.
Bill Gates, the creator of giant software company, Microsoft announced that his children will get nothing out of his £70billion fortune.
Instead of give to his children, he would leave it all to charity when he dies.
He said on a popular tv show in America, ITV’s ‘This Morning’ his kids understands his decision and are supportive of it.
The 60 year old BIll Gates said during the show “Well, our kids receive a great education and some money but they will go out and have their own careers.”
“It’s not a favor to kids to have them have huge sums of wealth, because it distorts anything they might do, creating their own path.” He went on to say the the money is “dedicated to helping the poorest.”
Gates states that giving their children all of the money would affect them negatively and he wanted them to have their own careers.
Bill Gates has three children , Jennifer Katharine (born 1996), Rory John (born 1999) and Phoebe Adele(born 2002).
How about your opinion? Maybe I’m not even millionaire but I’m agree with his point. But I’m aim to give them a house for them.
