Selangor, KL, Putrajaya, Sabah Will Be Under CMCO

Due to rise in COVID-19 in Klang, Petaling, Gombak dan Hulu Langat , government announced that Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Putrajaya will be placed under conditional movement control order (CMCO) again.
These states will be placed under CMCO from October 14 until October 27.


The CMCO rules include:
Inter-district travel is not allowed. Workers who need to cross districts must present an employee or a letter of permission from their employer.
Only two members from a household are allowed to leave the house to buy necessities.
All schools, institutes of higher learning, training institutes, kindergartens, childcare centres, tahfiz schools, public parks and recreational centres will be closed.
All places of worship will be closed.
All sports, recreational, cultural activities and weddings are not allowed.
Places of entertainment and night clubs will be closed.


Sabah
Meanwhile, Sabah will also be placed under CMCO from October 13 until October 26. The CMCO rules include:

Only two members from a household are allowed to leave the house to buy necessities.
All schools, institutes of higher learning, training institutes, kindergartens, childcare centres, tahfiz schools, public parks and recreational centres will be closed.
All places of worship will be closed.
All sports, recreational, cultural activities and weddings are not allowed.
Places of entertainment and night clubs will be closed.
The economic, industrial and trade sector will be allowed to operate as usual, bust must adhere to strict SOPs.
Whole sale markets and daily markets can operate from 6am to 2pm.
Convenience stores, petrol stations, pharmacies and drug stores can operate from 6am to 6pm.
Restaurants and food stalls can operate can operate from 6am to 6pm, but only for drive-throughs, deliveries or takeaways.
Taxis, e-hailing and food deliveries can operate from 6am to 8pm.
Clinics and government hospitals will operate 24/7.


The Senior Minister for Security, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob, said that more details will be revealed soon.
