Maybe some of us (including me) not agree with the list. But it is the list from Forbes.com on who is world’s most powerful people. Just look yourself

President, United States of America

The winner of the 2012 US presidential election this year. As a US president he will become the commander in chief of the world’s greatest military and head of the sole economic and cultural superpower and leader of the free world.

2. Angela Merkel
Chancellor, Germany

The world’s most powerful woman is member of European Union. She carries the fate of the euro on her shoulders. She has served as chancellor since 2005 but one of her biggest challenges still lies ahead.

3. Vladimir Putin
President, Russia

Putin reelected as a president for third 6 year after swapping posts with Prime Minister Dmitri Medvedev. The ex-KGB strongman controls a nuclear tipped army, a permanent seat on the UN Security COuncil and some of the wold’s largest oil and gas reserves.
